Introducción

In this week of May 11th to 15th, students will get into the general understanding of Unit 6. The topic in this last unit of the year is The Unexpected. Every day, students will answer part of Unit 5 Assessment, using Google questionnaires, during class. Then we are going to cover part of the reading skills, vocabulary and spelling words, plus the conventions in the Pearson Portal and practice in the workbook. There won´t be classes on Friday, the 15th, due to the Teacher´s Day.

Tarea

Monday the 11th, Students need to answer Unit 5 test in Google Questionnaire. Also, watch the video for Unit 6 Big Question in Pearson. 

Tuesday the 12th, Students need to answer Unit 5 test week 2. Also, watch the videos and do the assignments in Pearson for Unit 6 Week 1 Day 1 and 2. Focus on new words

Wednesday the 13th, Students need to answer Unit 5 test week 3. Also, watch the videos and do the assignments in Pearson, Day 3. Focus on Grammar

Thursday, 14th, Students need to answer Unit 5 test weeks 4 and 5. Also, do the assignments in Pearson  day 4 and 5. Focus in the story of the week, the paired selection and Sleuth.

Friday, May 15th, No classes. 

Procesos

Monday the 11th, T asks Ss to study pages in the workbook to prepare for Unit 5 Test. T sets a Google Questionnaire, providing the link in Edmodo and ClassDojo, assists when needed. T plays a video about Unit 6 theme, Open forum for how we can experience the unexpected. T shows the score for the last 2 assignments in Pearson Portal, asks Ss to do pending activities. 

Tuesday the 12th, T sets a Google Questionnaire for Ss to answer Unit 5 test part 2. Then plays a Quizlet Live of The truth about Austin's Amazing Bats in Quizlet. T goes over the vocabulary activities for day 1 in Pearson, work together to answer p. 387 in the workbook. T asks Ss to study the spelling words in Quizlet, then Ss. answer p. 389.

Wednesday the 13th, T sets a Google Questionnaire for Ss to answer Unit 5 test part 3. T plays a live game in Kahoot about Modifiers, then work together to answer p. 388 in the workbook. T plays a video about Modifiers, then Ss. answer p. 395.

Thursday, 14th, T sets a Google Questionnaire so Ss do parts 4 & 5 of Unit 5 Test. Work together to understand the reading skills for week 1. T goes over the stories of this week.

Friday, May 15th, Teachers'Day, no classes

Evaluación

1) Show your workbook with the answered pages to the teacher or send a pic through Edmodo (comments). 

2) Do the assigned activities in Pearson and study the vocabulary through Quizlet. Answer the unit tests in Edmodo.

3) Use the resources in Quizlet, Kahoot and Pearson portal.
