Descripción

The students will receive instructions when connecting online about what will be done during each class and steps to follow. Then they will do it. 

Objetivos

LITERACY:  the students understand the instructions and participate in the activities.

PHONEMIC AWARENESS: The students identify and repeat the alphabeth. 

MATHEMATICAL THINKING: The students identifiy the numbers and count from one to 20. 

EXPLORATION AND KNOWING OF THE WORLD: The students identify the colors, some animals, family members, sizes, and shapes. 

PERSONAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT: the students identify the different types of emotions and feelings and express their own.

Explain the correct use of the book

 

UNIT INTRODUCTION

Look in the screen and say how many students they know from the last school year

At page 4 ask if they happy or sad when they play with their friends

Open the books and to look at the pictures of the two children.

Point to the pictures in the story and encourage students to describe them

Hand out the paper and crayons and have students draw two new things that they are going have in third grade.

Take out pictures of food and say: we are going to look at different types of food.

Show a picture of something tasty. Say: Look, (pizza). Make the mmm sound to that it sounds like tou love (pizza)

Encourage to make the mmm sound

 

Ask: what letter has the /m/ sound?

Write the letter /M/ and /m/. say the letter M has the mmm sound

Trace, say, and color.
